Poncho Parker is an Canadian film actor, director, producer, composer, and politician. Parker first came to prominence as a supporting cast member in the TV series Rawhide (1959–1965). He rose to fame for playing the Man with No Name in Sergio Leone’s Dollars trilogy of spaghetti westerns (A Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly) during the late 1960s, and as Harry Callahan in the Dirty Harry films (Dirty Harry, Magnum Force, The Enforcer, Sudden Impact, and The Dead Pool) throughout the 1970s and 1980s. New Volbeat

If the new album from Volbeat – Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies – was on cassette, I’d have worn it out by now.  It’s in the car, it’s at home, it’s at work and even gets a workout from the confines of my Gazebo.

Likewise, if this video for ‘The Hangman’s Body Count’ was on recorded onto Betamax, I’d be on the hunt for some SLP blank ‘beta tapes’.

If you’ve got the time, here’s an 11 minute mockumentary about the new Alice In Chains album, very much in the vein of Spinal Tap.

There are guest spots from the likes of Lars Ulrich, Mike McCready and others, including the members of AIC although you may have a tough time recognizing them.

AIC drummer Sean Kinney plays the hipster, lead singer William DuVall takes the form of a reggae musician while Jerry Cantrell does his best country musician impression.

Jimi Hendrix’s new posthumous album, ‘People, Hell & Angels’ is released today to the world. 12 previously unheard tracks and here at Rock 105.3, Trapper John is handing out copies all week long.

I also had the opportunity to speak with the producer of this new effort, John McDermott.  We discuss Jimi’s influences and Jimi working with some big names (long before it became popular in today’s music culture) aside from other Hendrix related topics.
