I will never forget my first CFL game! I hated it!!!! Yup I actually wanted my Dad to take me home and never take me too another game again. I was 7 years old the first time I stepped foot in Commonwealth Stadium now I don’t know what changed in me the following years maybe it was the ’93 Grey Cup victory in Calgary against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (sorry Poncho) or meeting Damon Allen (my favorite QB) and Henry “Gizmo” Williams. This game has brought my Dad and I closer we have shared a lot of popcorn, burgers, hot dogs and beverages under those stadium lights. So sharing another CFL moment with my Dad here in Medicine Hat was very cool!
